Microsoft defined WGA as “Windows Genuine Advantage”. It is a tool created by Microsoft, which helps in online validation of several Microsoft programs.
Take a look of “Windows Media Player 11″
You can download it directly from Microsoft’s website for free. If you don’t have a genuine copy of Windows you may face the problem with “WGA” while installing.
Don’t worry or make yourself satisfied with the existing version of “Windows Media Player” in your system. All you need is software called “Winrar“
After installing winrar follow these steps to Bypass WGA :
1) Right-click the downloaded file “wmp11-windowsxp-x86-enu.exe” and choose Extract to “wmp11-windowsxp-x86-enu.exe/” from Winrar/Winzip shell context-menu.
2) Open the extracted folder “wmp11-windowsxp-x86-enu” and delete the WGA file “LegitLibM.dll“.
3) Double click on the file “wmfdist11.exe” and install the media player runtimes.
4) After completing the process double-click on the file “wmp11.exe” and install the “Windows Media Player 11“.
5) Done!! You can now start using “Windows Media Player 11″
